I am a huge dog lover, and wish I could give them ALL a loving home. Over the past few years, Belleville Area Humane Society has been my outlet for when I need a puppy fix, and where I go to make a difference in the lives of local homeless pets. BAHS allows for my club of Rescue Readers from Jefferson School to visit the shelter each month and read to adoptable pets. Also, as a member of Junior Service Club of St. Clair County, I get to participate in the humane society's many fun events that help raise money for the shelter.
Since I am unable to bring every homeless dog home, I will be participating in the Belleville Area Humane Society's "Slumber Pawty" to bring awareness to the community. I will be spending 24 hours in a kennel with a shelter dog to raise money for the Belleville Area Humane Society. I will be living the life of a shelter animal. I will be representing the wonderful women of Junior Service Club who donate many hours and dollars to charities in St. Clair County. I will also be representing Jefferson School and my club of Rescue Readers. Please support me by donating to this page. All proceeds will benefit the Belleville Area Humane Society, and the MANY animals they rescue, rehabilitate, rehome! My goal is to raise $1,000 for this amazing and worthy shelter! The Belleville Area Humane Society is 100% donor funded and cannot function without the generosity of their supporters.
